Streaming has never offered more choice, but that abundance has become its own problem. With content scattered across Netflix, HBO, Disney+ and dozens of other platforms, deciding what to watch next has turned into a frustrating, time consuming task. Users jump between apps, lose track of what they've seen, and struggle to discover what's actually worth their time.
Enserie was designed to solve exactly that. A single platform where users can explore the most relevant series across all streaming services, filter by genre, watch trailers, and rate what they've seen all in one place. No more switching between apps. No more decision paralysis. Just a clear, curated experience that helps people spend less time choosing and more time watching.
As the end-to-end Product Designer, I led the full process from research to final prototype. I explored the habits and frustrations of series viewers, analyzed how existing platforms fell short, and designed an experience that brought clarity and discoverability to a fragmented landscape.
This case study walks through how a simple insight, 80% of users subscribe to more than one platform shaped every design decision from architecture to visual identity.

INVESTIGATION
We made a form from which we obtained around 150 responses and of these, 80% have at least one platform to watch series. Some of them have more than one platform so they have to swith from one to other to see the offer of series.
We wanted to unify all those series in one site where you could see the detail, the rate, and where you can watch that serie with a direct link to that platform.

From those interviews came James, our archetype. James is 37 years old, He loves to watch series with his boyfriend but he always relied on his bf to choose what they should watch.

This would help me to choose faster.”
WIREFRAMES, PROTOTYPING & TESTS
We created some wireframes helping us to start with the guerrilla testing to validate the functionalities and detect some issues with the interactions.
After these testings we iterated the wireframes and added some colors and text style.
41 user tests were done. 2 types of tests: depth and guerrilla. In addition, we had to do several remotely. They took a total of 18 hours and 4 iterations. These have helped us a lot to identify the problems that the user had when they faced the different tasks that we were asking them throughout the test.

We used the Oswald typography because it has personality, presence for the titles.
And the Open sans for te body.

CONCLUSION
Designing this web-app it was a challenge because it’s about to raising a new product from the bottom.
With this project we could saw every phase to build a platform. The research, insights, defining the problem, ideation and definition, they were very important and each step generated uncertainties, but at least we could keep going and the result is the reflection of very hard work.
